Theology Question of the day!

Should Christians believe in PositivismπŸ€”

7th July 2025

There are so many Philosophies and theories emerging and getting birthed in our society. As christians it is incumbent upon us to be aware of what is pleasing to God and what is sin. We can never know the totality of this by ourselves; hence the importance of prayer. The new heresy in town is Positivism, which like any other good thing, seems good from the surface. The back end of it is the gutting of all things metaphysical and theistic, believing in positivism would be believing in the death of the christian. .

If am free, why not Sin DAILYπŸ€”

5th July 2025

We all have the human urge of self pleasure. We want to do what we like, when we like it, how we like it. This is pretty much the creed of secularism. Secularism believes in the fervent preaching of the now; what I want to do now, because I like it now, my emotions dictate my immediate actions. “YOLO”; You Only Live Once, this is a phrase we have heard in abundance. Many christians have identified with this. As much a part of the ideology is true, majority of it is sadly unbiblical and heresy. One of the defining characteristics of a Christian is how they live in relation to eternity, unlike the secularists who live in relation to the now. We are called to judge our dos and wants in accordance with the eternal law of God. We cannot afford to negotiate with sin daily us this will inevitably lead to the numbing of your spirit which leads to the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit ( A sin that cannot be forgiven).

Do Christians experience guiltπŸ€”

4th July 2025

Many times we sin or fall into temptation we ask God for fogginess only to be immediately followed by a sense of lack of assurance, did God really forgive me? Am I really free? The devil will always want to push us into the drainage filled with thoughts of doubt and lack of faith in the new work of Christ. Remember, the Bible says in Hebrews 10:38 The Just shall live by faith. This faith is warranted of us even when we are asking for forgiveness. Let us not sin against God by ascribing to Him the same inconsistencies inherent to humans.

Should Christians Get into Politics πŸ€”

21st June 2025

Politics has always seemed like the antithesis of Christianity; many Christians believe engaging in Politics would be staking hands with the devil. The truth is God is Lord over all from all creation, to Government, Governance, Institutions, and policies. As Christians, it is our privilege to take part in God’s eternal works; these also include politics. Our role is clear, not as an intimidator or unjust voice, but as the voice of God and instruments of His will.

Should Christians Obey the Government πŸ€”

20th June 2025

Christianity is not only a religious happening but also a way of life. This way of life must have an impact on not only our view of government but our role and response to it as well. All things are under the sovereign authority of God, this also includes the government. We are called to submit to it even when it causes us suffering. It is only compulsory to disobey the government when it comes into contradiction with God.

Should Christians celebrate Halloween πŸ€”

17th June 2025

Though Halloween has always been a bone of contention among Christians it does not divide us. The most important thing to do if you celebrate halloween is to ask yourself this, why do I celebrate Halloween and what is its relation to my eternity and God’s Morals ? That way you are not acting out of ignorance, peer pressure or conformity to the now.

Should Christians "ADOPT" to Modern Times πŸ€”

16th June 2025

There is a serious push towards conformity, especially for christians. Our values and standards have been called outdated and medieval. But the beauty is our treasure does not lie here where moth and dust ravish but in Heaven. Life is ultimately judged in eternity, no matter how you think about it. A life without eternal consideration ultimately leads to depression, lack of purpose and a morality that can never be clearly defined.

Must I believe in The "Whole" Bible πŸ€”

13th June 2025

One of the core beliefs that unites many denominations in the body of Christ is the belief in the infallibility and inerrancy of scripture. It is normal to struggle and even not agree with certain verses after all, we are fallen creatures. With the help of our “Helper” The Holy Spirit, we are able to discern and understand the scriptures

How Did people in the old Testament Get saved πŸ€”

12th June 2025

From Genesis through Revelation the consistent message of scripture is that salvation is by faith and faith alone in Jesus Christ. This was true for Abraham and still true for us currently.

Was God too “CRUEL” in the Old Testament πŸ€” What do you guys think ?

11th June 2025

The Old Testament has always seemed to be home to a different God than the New Testament, and many of us actually wrestle with the idea of God being the same God in both Testaments. But the truth is, God has always been consistent from Genesis to Revelation. He has never done injustice to anyone, always (“Undeserved”) Mercy and justice

Is New Age a Christian Denomination πŸ€” What do you guys think?

10th June 2025

There are many groups out there proclaiming affiliation with Christianity. Yet, they do not share the core beliefs of Christianity, all trying to offer some form of answer to the human quest for salvation.  The good news is our God has paid the ultimate price for our salvation and is offering it to us through grace and faith, ultimately through Jesusο»Ώ

Is Truth Relative πŸ€” What do you guys think?

9th June 2025

It is a very lucrative idea, I believe what I believe in, and it's real for me; you believe what you believe in, and it's real for you. Clearly, one of us has to be lying.

Truth can never be relative; our perceptions do not give the power of being to anything.

And that is the good news,

We serve a God who is not influenced by our thoughts of him or lack thereof

Do you agree with this or do you disagree ?

Works or Faith, which comes first πŸ€” What do you think ?

"For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, ‘The righteous shall live by faith.’"

"Works are a fruit of our faith and not a prerequisite."

Does God give Grace to allπŸ€” What do you think?
